May 4, 2008 – sailing
May 4, 2008… We headed out about 9am, which was when the fog was supposed to lift, although it didn’t lift till around 11am. Today we had Jody, his wife, and daughter crewing with us. We all had a great time.
At one point the wind quit on us (around 11am), so we drifted in the bay and decided to go swimming.
We sailed over to Ft. Pickens to set the hook and have lunch; the wind finally decided to pick up.
The sail back was enjoyable with blue skies.
We arrived back to port around 3:30pm and our crew departed. We decided to hang around the boat and grill dinner before heading home.
