Quick Overnight Sail to McRee
The weather was perfect for a quick overnight trip to Ft. McRee, so we took advantage with some friends and set sail.
Dolphins were quite pleased we made the trip out of the slip, because they came up to greet us.
The weather was gorgeous on the sail over.
After we dropped the hook, we headed over to shore, so Blake and Carol could look for seashells.
After a bit, our friend Joe with his two boys showed up.
They rafted up to Monomoy.
Tammy single-handed Keeldover and anchored nearby.
Tammy taking her doggies to shore.
Ty and Kiki on Shooting Star also anchored nearby.
The next morning we got up early and had a little play time on the beach.
We were treated to a dolphin passing through.
Fat Albert and the Navy Blue Angels also gave us a show.
Then it was time to weigh anchor and head back to the marina. We passed Charlie and Issy on s/v Good Juju.
Joe dropped anchor nearby to stay another night.
Paul and gang on m/v Snapper Trapper motored up to say HI.
Carol tried her luck at fishing.
We made it back to the marina, cleaned up, and had a relaxing evening.
