November 20-21, 2010
We had another really nice weekend.
We started with Mexican night at the dock on Friday night, then headed out sailing to McRee on Saturday.
We had fantastic wind to stay on a single tack the entire trip. Pogo was relaxed.
Jim on s/v Another Chance cruised over.
Joey, along with friends Amy and Brandi, were along as well on s/v Sea Wench.
We all boarded Joey’s boat and set sail for the Gulf.
Ben and Jim weighing anchor.
Blake playing his DS.
Conrad and Roxanne and s/v Great Escape was a little late on their arrival, so they headed to the beach while we sailed.
After we were underway, Carol assumed her position on the foredeck.
Brandi, Amy, and Jim enjoying snacks.
Must have been a serious discussion about the snacks going on.
Cruising the the Pensacola Land Cut. Captain Morgan was there to help guide the way.
Blakemeister.
As we were heading back in from the Gulf, Ralph and Mary on s/v NightWatch was cruising toward McRee; they had their hook set by the time we arrived.
The sunset was gorgeous.
We departed around 8am to cruise and head back to the marina. We had hoped to visit with Ralph and Mary over the weekend, but with the group of friends we had with us at McRee, we never had the chance to slip away; we did get a parting shot of NightWatch though.
Carol and Pogo.
Pogo got chilly, so Carol put a blanket on her. Blake is actually just to Pogo’s right under the blanket as well.
It was a nice cruise back with several pods of Dolphin swimming all around.
What a great fun filled weekend on the water!
