Halloween Weekend 2010
We started the weekend off with a great meal of One Pan Lasagna on Friday night prepared by Carol (note one wine glass is not as dark; it was sparkling grape juice for Blake).
After dinner, Blake carved his pumpkin.
We awoke Saturday morning and headed out around 10am for Pirates Cove.
Carol took the helm for a bit.
Captain Jim on s/v Another Chance cruised with us.
Ben being goofy.
Blake playing his DS.
Bob Pederson cruised over as well and went alongside Jim for a chat on the way.
Our marina friend Billy on m/v Remedy came as well.
And last, but not least, Ken and Sheri in s/v Private Stock.
It was a 7.5 hour sail from Pensacola to Josephine, AL, so Blake grabbed the helm for a bit.
We had Monomoy decorated for the weekend.
Blake got into costume for the night.
Carol also got into costume; Ben joined later in the costumes.
Carol was a bunny and Ben was Hugh.

Captain Jim got a great pic of Private Stock and Monomoy.

We had a great time at the cove on Saturday night, but had to head back Sunday for trick or treating that night.
After setting sail about 8:30am, we passed other boats cruising.
Ken and Sheri quickly caught up after getting fuel in Alabama.
Carol and Blake enjoying the temps.
Other sailors enjoying the wind.
Carol relaxing.
After returning to the dock (7 hour sail today), Blake changed into his Woody costume for some candy time.
Even Pogo got into the holiday as she was a pumpkin.
We had a fantastic time with great friends all weekend long! Two weeks from now will be the Blue Angel Show, which we are very much looking forward to.
