Another great weekend!
We departed Friday, October 8 from the marina after Carol got off work; it was a nice sail around to Ft. McRee.
We had a beautiful sunset.
Saturday morning was equally great to watch.
Time to take Pogo to shore.
Blake slept in.
Not too late though.
We anchored near the beach.
Conrad, Roxanne, and their daughter with a friend sailed over Friday as well. They don’t currently have an engine on their dink, so Saturday we towed them over to Redfish Point to have a look around; there wasn’t any wind to sail the boats.
We motored over to Spanish Point as well to check out an old ship wreck.
Blake took the tiller on the cruise back.
Coy joined us on Saturday.
We moved the boat and had the moon above Monomoy for the evening; the beach was too crowded for comfort.
Sunday morning was beautiful with the wind picking up, so we headed out to sail before returning to the slip.
Carol hanging out.
Sailboats started coming out to catch the breeze.
Getting some sun.
Blake took the helm.
Here’s a video of a pod of dolphin nearby on Sunday morning.
What another fantastic weekend.
