Afternoon Sail
November 7, 2009…
The wind was up most of the day, so we took the opportunity to work on the backyard for a while, but couldn’t resist heading out for an evening sail.
Wind was perfect for deploying just the Genoa, which made for a nice cruise around 3.5-4 knots. With a glass of Merlot, all was right with the world.
On our way out the channel, we came upon this large cat entering the bayou.
It was a great evening for sailing.
Blake was dressed up like a pirate.
The sun was going down.
Carol took the helm for a bit.
Carol then sat back again to enjoy the evening.
Other boaters were enjoying the evening.
Sunset.
