May 30, 2009…

We left the slip early morning and headed toward Quietwater for the day.

I came down with a sinus thing on Friday morning, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying the day.

Blake was enjoying himself.

At one point the relaxation of the day overtook Blake and he went to sleep.

Lots of sailboats out.

Once we returned to the dock, Blake decided he needed to clean the dock piling.

We’re outta here for the day.

Friday Sail

May 29, 2009…

We moved Monomoy over to the new marina this morning. The new slip is a dream to get in and out of. We have been fighting with the currents for over a year at the old slip. The new slip has no current and makes it so easy to get in and out without the need of judging the wind and water flow.

We went out for an afternoon sail and enjoyed the great weather. The wind was supposed to be calm all evening, but it built steadily and at one point we had 23 knot gusts. We forgot the camera, so no pictures today.
