Afternoon Sail

Went sailing and it was absolutely a gorgeous day for being on the water. I should have put sun block on earlier than I did though, cause my face feels the effects. Wind hovered around 7 knots at most times, so it was quiet and leisurely all day. We never did toss the hook and instead opted for PB&J sandwiches while sailing.

Last night I sat on the pier with my son and brother while enjoying just how peaceful it was. We discussed just how calm it was at that moment while just a few hundred miles away there is hell on the water by the name of Gustav.

Went out this morning for about 2 hours and had a relaxing sail. Around 4-6 knots of wind and calm water. Looked like the PYC was getting ready to hold a regatta, because there were quite a few small boats heading out from there; perfect day for it.
