1987 Hunter Legend 37.5

May 24, 2008

Made it out sailing twice. We shoved off around 1:30pm and sailed over toward the Bob Sykes Bridge; we returned around 5:30pm, went and picked up pizza to eat at the boat, then shoved back off for about 1.5 hours of night sailing.

All day long the wind was perfect and sea cooperative. We didn’t take any pictures of this day’s trip.

We were surprised that at any given time we only counted 2-3 other sailboats out and only a few boats (including stink pots) on the bay altogether. Perhaps many people we traveling out of town for the weekend, but I was have suspected many more vessels out on such a nice day.
